Role Overview:
You are required to be a Cloud/DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (Azure, Kubernetes) at MishiPay to drive the scalability, reliability, and evolution of the cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities include managing infrastructure for high-volume platforms, leading cloud-to-cloud migrations, setting up observability stacks, ensuring fast incident response, optimizing infrastructure costs, implementing disaster recovery processes, monitoring database performance, and maintaining cloud security practices. Your role demands strong ownership and experience in working on platforms serving millions of users with strict uptime and latency requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage infrastructure for high-volume platforms with tight latency requirements and 99.9999% uptime SLAs
- Lead cloud-to-cloud migrations and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Drive migration from VM/VMSS to Kubernetes (AKS) with minimal disruption
- Set up and manage observability stack including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Datadog, Sentry, and proactive alerting
- Monitor Azure alerts and ensure fast incident response
- Implement regular infrastructure patching and maintenance
- Assist teams with secure and reliable access to Azure resources
- Optimize infrastructure costs, ensure cloud security and compliance practices
- Configure and manage Cloudflare for DNS, CDN, WAF, and edge security integration
- Manage Azure Traffic Manager for global traffic routing and failover
- Implement and manage caching layers and data indexing for performance and observability
Qualifications Required:
- Strong experience with Azure including Compute, Networking, Storage, Monitoring, Cost Optimization, Security, Deployment & IaC
- Hands-on experience in cloud-to-cloud migrations and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of observability principles and experience with Elasticsearch
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, scripting skills, and setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in database performance tuning and Azure services
- Hands-on experience with Cloudflare, Azure Traffic Manager, and Application Gateway
- A degree from a top-tier University
