Cloud Solution Architect, Application Modernization

Role Overview: As a Cloud Architect/Engineer at Oracle India, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions for application modernization. You will work on transformative projects using Oracle Cloud services and open-source technologies to drive cloud adoption. Your role will involve engaging with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement cloud solutions for application modernization using Oracle Cloud services and low-code tools. - Utilize Oracle's modern development frameworks and tools such as Oracle Visual Builder, Oracle APEX, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Functions, Oracle JET, Oracle ADF, Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes, Oracle API Gateway, and Oracle API Platform Cloud Service. - Design and deploy APIs to enhance connectivity between microservices and external systems. - Familiarity with open-source development frameworks, libraries, and tools including Spring Boot, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, React.Js, Angular, Vue.Js, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, Kong, Apigee, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, CouchDB, and JSON-based document databases. - Knowledge of middleware application servers, automation tools, Linux operating systems, load balancers, HA/DR strategies, and storage architectures. - Create detailed technical architectures, product solutions, and deliver product presentations to customers. Qualification Required: - 8+ years of experience in consulting or solution engineering, with 5+ years of expertise in application modernization and integration. - Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions using Oracle Cloud application development tools and open-source technologies. - Preferred certifications in OCI, such as Solution Architect or Developer. - Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred, with relevant experience.
