CFO Leading Retail Company

You will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, leading the annual budgeting process, and creating long-term financial plans to support business growth. You will also need to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of financial reports. Additionally, you will drive profitability across all business channels and implement cost-control measures. Managing cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to ensure operational stability will be crucial. Identifying and assessing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws are also part of the role. You will be expected to advise the COO and the leadership team on financial matters, including potential mergers and acquisitions, and support strategic initiatives. Leading and managing the finance and accounting departments, including controllers, treasurers, and other staff, will be essential. - Financial expertise: Robust knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, forecasting, and corporate finance. - Strategic thinking: Ability to align financial planning with overall business objectives and provide strategic guidance. - Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a finance team. - Analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies. - Technological proficiency: Experience with financial systems and a willingness to integrate technology to improve efficiency. - Retail-specific knowledge: Understanding of retail-specific financial challenges, such as inventory costs and multi-channel profitability.
