Banquet Manager Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination

• Plan, organize, and supervise banquet events such as weddings, conferences, parties, and corporate meetings

• Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and preferences

• Prepare event schedules, layouts, and service plans

Food & Beverage Operations

• Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely food preparation and service

• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion standards

• Ensure smooth coordination between banquet staff and kitchen

Team Management

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise banquet staff

• Assign duties and ensure high service standards during events

• Motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Manage event budgets and control operational costs

• Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment usage

• Reduce wastage and ensure efficient resource utilization

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

• Conduct safety checks of banquet halls and equipment
