As a Software Developer (C#) at Emerson, you will be an integral part of the digitization movement, collaborating with cross-functional teams and Agile scrum teams within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)-based organization. You will have the opportunity to work on strategic projects using the latest cloud technologies and engage with global teams, broadening your perspective. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for: - Developing software interfaces for various systems - Creating Cloud Native software using C#, .NET Core technology - Designing technical solutions according to Technical Architect's specifications and contributing to technical architecture development - Collaborating with Agile Scrum teams to develop applications, guiding and working with the testing team in software testing - Working with the Product Owner to estimate efforts and prioritize requirements backlog **Key Responsibilities:** - MSc / B.E. / B Tech (Computer / Electronics) - Minimum 5 years of experience working on enterprise software projects - Advanced C# skills including LINQ and Async Programming - Proficiency in Multi-threading & Synchronization, Database Transactions (eventual consistency), REST/gRPC, and Distributed tracing - Good working experience with PostgreSQL - Experience with containerized application development using Azure Kubernetes services and docker - Basic knowledge of Azure Concepts (App services, Azure SQL Databases, Logic Apps) **Preferred Qualifications:** - Network & Security Knowledge - Proficiency in Protobuf / flatbuffer and Memory profiling - Cloud Native Knowledge and exposure to Software Coding best practices - Awareness of SAFe 6.0 and Agile Scrum Methodologies In addition to the technical requirements, Emerson offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to meet the needs of its employees.
