Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be joining the Business Unit EPS Automotive Electronics as a Business Operation Leader. As the Business Development Manager (BDM), your primary responsibility will be to identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities with automotive OEMs and Tier 2 partners. Your role will involve expanding customer relationships, supporting new product introductions, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, pricing strategies, and market intelligence. You will act as the key liaison between internal engineering, program management, and the customer to align commercial and technical objectives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key OEMs, Tier 2 suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial discussions, RFQs, and contract negotiations.
- Lead business reviews and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to develop go-to-market strategies.
- Support the development of long-term strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
- Collaborate with Program Management to track project status, revenue forecasts, and profitability.
- Report key business metrics such as sales pipeline, RFQ status, and win/loss analysis to leadership.
- Lead quotation preparation and pricing negotiations in line with cost targets and profitability goals.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Engineering for contract reviews and commercial agreements.
- Manage change requests and commercial claims as needed.
Qualification Required:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
