Role Overview: As a Business Analyst (Analytics Focused), you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions within our banking operations. Your main responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. You will need to translate analytical findings into actionable business requirements and collaborate closely with technology and data teams to enhance our analytical capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret complex data sets to identify significant trends, patterns, and anomalies, translating them into clear, concise, and impactful insights for business partners and senior leadership. - Leverage data to derive customer behavioral insights, driving effective targeting, segmentation, and engagement strategies across digital channels. - Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting systems, dashboards, and analytical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational goals. - Lead initiatives to rationalize, enhance, transform, and automate existing reports to meet evolving business needs. - Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, patterns, and anomalies within banking data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports and analytical solutions. - Lead analytical projects from conception to completion, mentor junior analysts, and ensure high-quality deliverables. - Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by adhering to data governance frameworks and risk control guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or MIS reporting, preferably in the financial services or banking industry. - Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from large relational databases. - Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based data management platforms. - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills. - Hands-on experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is preferred. - Programming skills in SAS & Python (PySpark, Pandas) for data processing, statistical analysis, and automation. - Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, QlikView, or similar software. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Contribution to organizational initiatives including competency development, training, and team-building activities.
