BI & Analytics Expert

Role Overview: As a BI & Analytics Expert specializing in Databricks, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deliver analytics solutions for enterprise clients using modern Lakehouse architectures. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure scalable, governed, and high-performance BI solutions that meet reporting and analytics requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and delivering end-to-end BI and analytics solutions on Databricks - Building and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Databricks Dashboards and external BI tools - Optimizing Lakehouse data models for analytics and reporting purposes - Enabling self-service analytics with controlled access - Implementing data security and governance using Unity Catalog - Enhancing SQL queries and analytics workloads for improved performance and cost efficiency - Setting up alerts, scheduled queries, and operational reporting workflows - Collaborating with clients to gather requirements, provide insights, and ensure successful adoption of the solutions Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in BI and analytics roles - Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Databricks SQL - Experience in delivering enterprise-grade dashboards and self-service analytics solutions - Proficiency in SQL and analytics data modeling - Strong communication skills for client interactions - Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions Additional Details: The ideal candidate would also have experience working in enterprise or consulting environments, familiarity with data governance best practices, and exposure to modern Lakehouse or cloud analytics architectures.
