Backend Python Developer

As a Backend Developer at our media-tech start-up Rainbox, you will be an integral part of the team working collaboratively with Software Developers, Project Managers, QA, Software Architects, and DevOps. Your primary focus will be to shape and implement the technology and product deliverables that drive forward the strategy of our venture. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the team to build world-class recommendation systems. - Brainstorm and experiment with new ideas to efficiently improve our service. - Write effective, low-latency, high-availability, and scalable Python code. - Work with System Layered Services such as Virtualization, Network Management, and core OS Technologies. - Create pipelines and services necessary for Critical Real-Time Systems. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience with a proven track record of delivering quality results. - Strong knowledge in OOPS, Data Structures, Algorithms, Networking Concepts, and OS Concepts. - Experience in building Microservices, Server Services, etc., at scale. - Proficiency in Cloud Technologies and possibly bare-metal hardware. - Knowledge of Virtualization, Kafka Streaming, Networking Protocols, Web Crawling, Caching, Routing Algorithms, etc. About Us: Rainbox is a media-tech start-up with a focus on content aggregation, search/discovery, and recommendation.
