Backend - NodeJs Developer

As a skilled Developer with 3-6 years of experience, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs. You should possess strong expertise in REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database integration, coupled with a solid understanding of modern software development practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable backend services - Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices - Integrate third-party APIs and external services - Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL - Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security - Collaborate with frontend teams for API integration - Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code - Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms - Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) - Experience with Node.js or similar Node frameworks - Good understanding of REST API design - Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL - Knowledge of async programming, promises, and event-driven architecture - Experience with Git version control - Understanding of microservices architecture - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes is a plus - Knowledge of authentication methods (JWT, OAuth) Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with AWS - Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) - Knowledge of API security and performance optimization - Experience with CI/CD pipelines Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
