Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and microservices using Golang and Python. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Golang and Python. - Building scalable and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as frontend, DevOps, and product teams. - Optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Participating in code reviews and technical discussions. - Working with cloud platforms and Containerized environments. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Strong hands-on experience in Golang (Go) and Python. - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design. - Experience in building REST APIs and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with databases such as SQL/NoSQL like PostgreSQL, MongoDB. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, the following skills would be considered a plus: - Experience with message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ. - Exposure to distributed systems and event-driven architecture. - Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana. - Prior experience in product-based companies. For this position, we require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. In terms of key traits, you should have strong problem-solving skills, good communication and collaboration abilities, and an ownership mindset with a proactive attitude.
