AWS Infrastructure Manager

Role Overview: As an AWS Infra Manager-Architect at Ameriprise India LLP, your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage road maps and technical designs, govern implementations, and ensure ongoing application health by applying a broad understanding of all areas of architectural domains such as data, infrastructure, applications, and security. You will be an expert in handling highly complex and broad-scale projects either in a general area or focused on specific technical aspects like Cloud, Compute, Storage, Backups, Containers, Middleware, and Disaster Recovery. Your role will involve translating business needs into technical solutions through planning, developing, and refining to-be architectures. Key Responsibilities: - Develop current to future state architecture road maps, align and promote enterprise technology principles and strategy, and contribute to authoring application and capability strategies. - Establish, maintain, and apply architecture standards, disciplines, and principles. Use appropriate design techniques to translate project requirements into detailed designs consistent with platform strategy and road map. - Create effective control patterns, conduct risk evaluations, enforce policies and standards, and research and recommend technology improvements for current systems. - Maintain deep expertise in architectural modeling, frameworks, emerging technologies, and best practices. Mentor and develop less experienced technical staff and provide technical leadership in business-as-usual and crisis conditions. - Develop and communicate governance parameters, partner with other architects for alignment and integration across portfolio boundaries, and build strong relationships within and across lines of business. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or related work experience. - 12-17 years of relevant experience with broad experience across architecture practices. - Knowledge of Enterprise-wide architecture and ability to see the big picture. - Internal/External consulting experience, depth of experience in architecture, design, implementation, and support of complex enterprise solutions. - Excellent communication skills, ability to set direction, lead teams, strong analytical skills, exposure to cloud technologies (preferably AWS/Azure) is a plus. - Significant business knowledge and multiple areas of concentrated technical expertise.
