Automation Testing Engineer (Selenium with Java)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver as the primary automation tool. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into test scenarios. Develop and maintain reusable test components and libraries. Expertise in Scripting Languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C#. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution in various environments. Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results. Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior QA engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into test scenarios - Develop and maintain reusable test components and libraries - Expertise in Scripting Languages - Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C# - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines - Perform test data management and environment setup for automated test execution - Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with developers to resolve issues - Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results - Monitor and report on test execution metrics and quality trends - Mentor junior QA engineers - Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in test automation - Deliver results on time - Work well independently with minimal supervision while also functioning as an integral part of a team - Build positive and effective relationships with individuals both internal and external to the organization Qualification Required: - Education: Any Graduate - Experience: 3+ years in automation testing - Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C# - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps - Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies - Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI - Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, Qtest - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Testing related certification preferred - Good command over analyzing the requirements for automation Note: Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
