As an AutoCAD Developer (C#), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom AutoCAD plugins and automation tools using C#. You will extend AutoCAD functionalities through .NET API and Object ARX (if applicable) and develop solutions to automate drafting, modelling, and drawing generation processes. Your role will involve integrating AutoCAD with external systems, databases, and enterprise applications, troubleshooting technical issues related to AutoCAD customizations and integrations, and collaborating with engineering and design teams to implement solutions. Additionally, you will optimize existing tools for performance, scalability, and usability, and provide technical documentation and user support as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain custom AutoCAD plugins and automation tools using C#. - Extend AutoCAD functionalities through .NET API and Object ARX (if applicable). - Develop solutions to automate drafting, modelling, and drawing generation processes. - Integrate AutoCAD with external systems, databases, and enterprise applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AutoCAD customizations and integrations. - Collaborate with engineering and design teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. - Optimize existing tools for performance, scalability, and usability. - Provide technical documentation and user support as needed. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of hands-on AutoCAD programming experience using C#. - Strong knowledge of AutoCAD .NET API and customization techniques. - Experience in developing and enhancing AutoCAD automation tools. - Good understanding of CAD standards and drafting workflows. - Experience with system integrations and database connectivity. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and handle technical problem-solving. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Object ARX or other AutoCAD SDK tools. - Knowledge of WPF/WinForms for developing UI within AutoCAD plugins. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
