As an Associate User Experience (UX) Designer at Boeing's ecommerce team in Bangalore, India, you will collaborate with the Boeing India teams, partners, and stakeholders to develop, maintain and enhance ecommerce applications for Boeing Global Services (BGS) IT organization. Your role will involve working with a diverse and skilled team to achieve collaborative results. You will need to exhibit a positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. **Position Responsibilities:** - Work on the development and support of Boeing Global Service (BGS) ecommerce applications for Business Regional & General Aviation (BRGA) and Commercial Airline (CA) customers globally. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and support teams across different regions. - Execute user-centered design activities throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring product usability. - Conduct user research activities, define user requirements, user flows, and usability goals to make informed design decisions. - Translate user needs and business requirements into wireframes, user flows, and design alternatives, creating prototypes and style guides. - Conduct iterative usability tests, diagnose and prioritize usability issues, and refine designs based on feedback. - Support alignment between UX design and technical roadmaps, working closely with development and QA teams in various locations. - Mentor junior resources, provide support for internal competency development, and contribute to initiatives related to engineering excellence and employee development. - Research and recommend new technologies and best practices to enhance product development activities. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** - Minimum 4+ years of experience in UX design with a focus on ecommerce. - Strong foundation in user-centered design principles and design thinking methodology. - Understanding of HTML/CSS and other UI technologies to provide detailed specifications for developers. - Experience in using user behavior analytics data to enhance user experience. - Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision. - Ability to interact with end-users/stakeholders to gather requirements and validate designs. - Experience with responsive and mobile design, along with strong prototyping skills. **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** - Relevant certification in UI/UX skillset. - Aviation-related application development background. - Experience in SAFe Agile methodologies.
