Job Description
As the Associate Director - Employee Relations & HR Compliance APAC in Pune, your role involves overseeing all aspects of employee relations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. You will lead a team of ER advisors to support employee grievances, including POSH, and handle high-complexity cases personally. Your expertise will serve as the go-to for all employee relations and HR compliance matters within the APAC region.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Employee Relations Management:** Develop and implement regional ER strategies, policies, and procedures in line with global guidance.
- **Advisory Role:** Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, conflict resolution, and POSH compliance.
- **POSH Expertise:** Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, ensuring compliance with POSH laws and requirements.
- **Manager Coaching:** Provide coaching to managers on communication, conflict resolution, and best practices for managing employee relations issues.
- **Conflict Mediation:** Handle complex issues objectively, mediating between employees to minimize workplace conflict.
- **Compliance Oversight:** Stay updated with employment laws, regulations, and best practices. Develop and deliver training programs on compliance-related topics.
**Qualifications & Experience:**
- At least fifteen (15) years of direct employee relations and compliance experience.
- Knowledge of HR Compliance, Employment & Labor laws standards in the region.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Certification in HR compliance preferred but not required.
