Associate Data Scientist

As an Associate Data Scientist in Chennai, you will be responsible for developing analytics models using specialized tools based on the business problem and available data. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying the appropriate set of models and developing the necessary code or packages to execute them - Evaluating the validity of the models both scientifically and from a business perspective - Supporting the Data Science Team in designing and executing analytics projects - Collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts to complete tasks and deliverables on projects - Working across multiple sets of stakeholders including business SMEs, IT, Data teams, and Analytics resources to achieve project deliverables - Identifying actionable insights that directly address challenges and opportunities - Articulating business insights and recommendations to respective stakeholders based on model output - Understanding business KPIs, frameworks, and drivers for performance Your role will require expertise in the following modelling and technology skills: - Deep knowledge of machine learning techniques - Advanced machine learning techniques such as Decision Trees, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Support Vector Machines, Clustering, Bayesian Networks, Reinforcement Learning, Feature Reduction or engineering, Anomaly deduction, Natural Language Processing (including Theme deduction, sentiment analysis, Topic Modeling), and Natural Language Generation - Strong experience in specialized analytics tools and technologies like Python, NLP, IP, DL, SPSS, Spotfire, Tableau, Qlickview, and for Operations Research (AIMS, Cplex, Matlab) - Awareness of Data Bricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop - Familiarity with Agile and Scrum ways of working You should hold a qualification of B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, or M.C.A with 3-12 years of experience in the field.
