Associate Data Scientist

Role Overview: As a Data Scientist at the company located in Gurgaon with a hybrid work model, your primary responsibility will be to apply data mining techniques, clean data, incorporate AI and predictive models, and visualize data to solve problems and innovate new ways of working for the global business. You will need to have effective communication skills, be organized, think innovatively, and have a will to learn current business processes and new data science techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Translate data & analytics into business insights by collaborating with global leaders and regional functional teams (10%) - Identify, process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis (15%) - Improve and operationalize data collection processes by incorporating relevant features for analytical use cases, implementing automation, and structured logging to ensure data quality, traceability, and reliability (20%) - Build and design workflows with advanced algorithms and models such as ML, Time Series, ML Ops, etc., to align with business needs (40%) - Build and train models using machine learning, Time Series, and Forecasting techniques (15%) Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science, or a related field - Proficiency in coding in one or more languages, with Python preferred - Experience with data visualization software, with Power BI preferred - Experience in training, evaluating, and applying statistical models and AI/ML algorithms Additional Company Details: Fluent English is required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in a related field, experience with Cloud-based tools (Azure preferred), technical knowledge for Data environments, transformation, and ML Ops, the ability to connect data/analytics with business applications, experience with Forecasting use cases, technical knowledge for ML deployments and monitoring, and experience with an ERP system (SAP preferred).
