Assistant Vice President, Equities and Trade

In Group Technology and Operations (T&O), you will be enabling and empowering the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure by focusing on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. Your role in Wealth Management Technology will involve architecting scalable investment and wealth solutions, offering personalized advice to high-net-worth investors, and actively contributing to the transformation of the financial ecosystem. You will be part of a diverse team driving innovation to ensure equitable access to wealth management expertise. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Support Java (J2EE/Spring Boot) based multi-tier applications with complex interactions, analyze application logs for troubleshooting, and issue investigation. - Self-organize and prioritize work in a dynamic environment, contribute to automated CI/CD capabilities, and enhance DevOps practices. - Collaborate with internal teams for testing, investigating, and deployments, handle Release Management, and ensure high availability of applications. - Participate in designing automated, robust, and secure infrastructure, work effectively with local or remote teams, and support production environments with performance tuning and troubleshooting. - Be willing to work in rotational shifts/on-call rosters to support critical applications. **Requirements:** - Minimum 10-12 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer supporting application infrastructure in Hybrid-cloud platforms. - At least 5 years of experience in Online Equities Trading and settlement system support. - Proficiency in supporting Java (J2EE/Spring Boot) or .NET applications, incident management, and root cause analysis. - Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems, containerization platforms, scripting languages, Observability tools, CI/CD tools, and public cloud services. - Knowledge of batch processing systems, SQL query language, and deployment strategies.
