Role Overview:
As the Regional Building Operation Systems (BOS) Manager at JLL, your primary responsibility will be to lead the strategic operation and maintenance of the region's digital building portfolio. You will play a crucial role in integrating BMS, LMS, and IoT technologies into a centralized cloud platform to drive operational efficiency and sustainability. Acting as the technical bridge between Facility Management and IT, you will ensure adherence to Client Digital Building Standards and manage the full lifecycle of digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Digital Strategy: Implement frameworks and policies to advance the 'Smart Building' portfolio in alignment with Client Digital Building standards.
- System Integration: Oversee the onboarding of buildings to the BOS platform, including ontology mapping, data validation, and seamless integration of BMS and IoT devices.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze real-time operational data to identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions for enhancing energy performance, and reducing costs.
- Project & Vendor Management: Lead system enhancement projects, coordinate with OEMs/vendors for hardware upgrades, software integration, and defect resolution.
- Cybersecurity & Infrastructure: Manage building ICT networks, ensure strict cyber compliance for all connected devices and digital assets.
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary escalation point for troubleshooting BOS integration issues, ensuring equipment resiliency and uptime.
- Asset Management: Conduct regular audits and manage the inventory of all digital hardware, software, and associated licensing.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT with a minimum of 8 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a specialized BOS, BMS, or Smart Building role.
- Deep understanding of IoT ecosystems, cloud integration, and BOS platform technology stacks (e.g., Clearblade, UDMI, Data Ontology).
- Strong technical grasp of BMS, HVAC, Lighting (LMS), and Fire Alarm Systems, including communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and KNX.
- Experience with data mapping, database management (SQL is a plus), and visualization tools like Power BI for data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability in project management, coordination with OEMs/vendors, and proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Office for technical presentations.
