Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Accountants - Captive Insurance Accounting

As an AM/DM in Accounting within the Captive Insurance domain, you will be responsible for various key tasks including: - Managing all client accounting, tax, regulatory, treasury, and company administration issues to ensure timely financial, regulatory, and Board reporting deadlines are met. - Preparing client financial statements and maintaining accounting records in compliance with GAAP. - Conducting bank and investment account reconciliations and recording day-to-day transactions. - Compiling monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages and assisting in external audit processes. - Creating budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports as requested by clients. - Overseeing client funds' investments per Board instructions/strategy and ensuring tax compliance. - Maintaining accurate business plans and monitoring solvency and capital adequacy regularly. - Handling annual insurance return filings and necessary submissions to the domicile. - Performing any other duties as required. Qualifications required for this role include: - CA qualified with a minimum of 4+ years of post-CA experience. - Preference for candidates with Insurance and/or Captive Accounting experience. - Experience with QuickBooks or similar general ledger software is advantageous.
