Assistant Manager MEP Projects

As an Assistant Manager within the Facilities and Warehouse Infra Design team at Flipkart, you will be instrumental in designing and developing top-notch infrastructure for the Hyperlocal supply chain. Your role will involve overseeing the end-to-end design, review, and coordination of MEP systems to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate Electrical layouts and Single Line Diagrams (SLD) to ensure compliance with project requirements. - Review Mechanical system designs for alignment with project specifications. - Serve as a liaison between MEP consultants and internal Process Layout teams for seamless integration of services. - Apply HVAC engineering expertise in Cold Room calculations and ventilation system design. - Manage Electrical Distribution systems in accordance with industry standards. - Supervise requirements for CCTV, Access Control, and IT systems. - Drive cost optimization initiatives and manage project timelines for timely delivery. - Collaborate cross-functionally with basic knowledge of Civil engineering and warehouse storage systems. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications: - Education: BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. - Technical Proficiency: - Proficient in AutoCAD, with 3D drawing skills as an advantage. - Sound knowledge of HVAC & Electrical Design calculations. - Familiarity with ASHRAE / ISHRAE standards. - Understanding of BMS (Building Management Systems). - Experience: 67 years in the Warehouse or E-commerce industry. - Tools: Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Sheets. - Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
