Job Description
You will be responsible for leading client accounting engagements, managing a team, and ensuring high-quality financial reporting for US-based clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and reviewing end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting processes
- Managing a team of 34 accounting professionals
- Reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Owning monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Acting as the primary point of contact for client queries
- Driving process improvements and operational efficiency
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
- 58 years of experience in US accounting (Client or Corporate accounting)
- 3+ years of team management exposure
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, 1099s, payroll & tax forms
- Experience in both cash and accrual accounting
- Hands-on expertise in QuickBooks or Oracle & MS Excel
- CA/CPA (preferred)
- Strong client communication & team management skills
