Assistant Financial Controller

Role Overview: As an Assistant Controller at the Gemonio Plant, you will collaborate with the Finance team to support the Plant Controller and drive operational excellence and informed decision-making. Your responsibilities will include collaborating in budget creation, tracking project progress, updating product costing, preparing expense analyses, and providing support for various financial activities. You will play a crucial role in enabling informed business decisions and achieving operational targets. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the standard cost methodology for site production, analyzing the impact of changes related to new product development, raw material purchases, labor costs, and production processes. - Support the Plant Controller in budget creation, forecasts, and outlooks. - Control CAPEX and OPEX. - Assist in annual physical inventory, asset tagging, and preparation of reports for production cost variances. - Evaluate feasibility of investment projects, conduct monthly analyses, and support month-end close activities. - Complete ISTAT reports and attend staff meetings. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in controlling, finance, or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. - Familiarity with ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of SAP. - Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and knowledge of Italian accounting standards is preferred. - Fluent in Italian and English is a must-have.
