Assistant D&T Manager - Data Stewardship

As an Assistant Manager - Data Stewardship at General Mills in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in managing a team and overseeing the data governance practices within the Supply Chain domain. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading team members to ensure data is fit for purpose - Managing multi-domain scope and high complexity - Developing, championing, and enforcing sustainable data governance policies, processes, standards, and guidelines - Collaborating with domain data owners to develop domain data governance roadmap - Coaching business partners on the application of the GMI Data Governance Framework - Providing work directions to Data Steward Analysts or more junior Data Stewards - Facilitating Working and Governance council meetings - Understanding data lineage and providing data flow consultation - Identifying improvements and justifying resource prioritization - Collaborating closely with large scope projects dependent on data quality Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of total experience and 6 years of relevant experience - Experience working in the Supply Chain domain - Familiarity with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, or other data quality tools - Knowledge of Data Governance strategies and processes - Proficiency in SQL, Data Analysis, Data Visualization, End-to-End Process mindset, and Lineage - Exposure to Database Technologies (GCP, Cloud, etc) and Agile Methodologies - Ability to influence, drive change, lead, coach, and mentor others - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies Join General Mills India Centre and be a part of a team that values inclusivity and continuous growth in technology.
