Job Description
In this role at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will be part of the Business Analytics & Advanced Analytics team in Mumbai, which falls under the Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Line of Business within Global Finance & Business Management (GF&BM) India.
**Role Overview:**
As a member of the Business Intelligence team within Asset Managements Global Sales Enablement organization, your mission will be to apply creativity, rigor, and data-driven thinking to help plan and execute the business growth of J.P. Morgan Asset Management. You will work on defining data-driven distribution and marketing strategies, partnering with distribution stakeholders, and embedding analytics processes in decision-making.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Partner with distribution stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics
- Embed analytics process in organizational decision making: descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analytics
- Build analytical frameworks for marketing measurement including A/B testing, campaign ROI, and cost of acquisition modeling
- Conduct in-depth data exploration and data mining to understand client behavior
- Contribute to and enhance data models and feature stores
- Utilize machine learning models and techniques to target opportunities and optimize processes
- Develop tools and solutions to measure model performance over time
- Guide junior resources on the team with functional nuances
- Drive business development and process efficiencies across the team
- Lead collaboration with related functions/groups locally and globally
- Foster a data-driven, innovative culture within the team
**Qualifications:**
- MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, or other quantitative-focused field preferred
- Experience in an analytics role, preferably in financial services/marketing
- Proficiency in computer languages like Python, Pyspark, and Google Analytics for data manipulation and analysis
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and libraries (Sci-kit learn, tensorflow, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
- Experience in people management and working in a matrix organization
- Understanding of Investment Management Business, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, or Separate Accounts preferable
- Passion for technology, financial services, and asset management
- Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, and build relationships across global teams
