Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Intern

**Role Overview:** As an AI/ML Intern at AVEVA, you will be part of the R&D team responsible for developing AI capabilities for existing products and building AI-enabling platform services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions for real-world problems. Your role will involve implementing, testing, and optimizing machine learning algorithms using relevant libraries and frameworks. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and refinement of AI pipelines, conduct literature reviews, and document technical processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions. - Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis for high-quality datasets. - Implement, test, and optimize machine learning algorithms using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. - Contribute to the development and refinement of AI pipelines, including data ingestion and model selection. - Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on AI trends and techniques. - Document technical processes, experiments, and results for knowledge sharing. - Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and team meetings. - Present findings, analyses, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Qualification Required:** - Strong understanding of foundational AI and machine learning concepts. - Proficiency in Python, R, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. - Knowledge of C# and .Net would be advantageous. - Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques and data visualization tools. - Understanding of deep learning architectures and generative AI concepts. - Awareness of emerging AI interoperability standards. - Ability to work with version control tools like Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Prior internships or coursework projects in AI/ML is a plus.
