Job Description
As a CMS Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design architecture and implementation of modern content management solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and DevOps teams to deliver robust and future-proof CMS solutions in a headless, cloud-native, and composable architecture environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable and modular CMS solutions based on business requirements and digital strategy.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of CMS platforms, including content modeling, templating, API design, and integration with other systems (CRM, DAM, eCommerce, analytics, etc.).
- Drive the adoption of headless CMS architecture, API-first development, and microservices patterns.
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless delivery of content across web, mobile, and other channels.
- Provide technical mentorship and architecture oversight to development teams.
Qualifications Required:
- 8 years of experience in software/web development with at least 3 years in CMS architecture or technical lead roles.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Webiny, Contentful, Strapi, Sitecore, AEM, Sanity, WordPress VIP, etc.
- Strong understanding of headless CMS, serverless architecture, and cloud-native systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in API design (REST, GraphQL), content modeling, and microservices integration.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React) and their interaction with headless CMS backends.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and IaC tools.
