Job Description
As a Data Analyst with a focus on E-commerce, your role will involve analyzing customer behavior, sales performance, and operational metrics to extract actionable insights that contribute to business growth. You will collaborate closely with business, marketing, and product teams, utilizing your proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets related to sales, customers, orders, traffic, and marketing performance.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor essential e-commerce KPIs like conversion rate, AOV, CLTV, retention, and churn.
- Conduct cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and customer segmentation.
- Provide data-driven insights to support product and marketing teams.
- Optimize user experience by analyzing website and app performance data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define metrics and reporting requirements.
- Automate recurring reports and dashboards for efficiency.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and revenue growth opportunities.
- Assist in A/B testing and experimentation initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
Qualifications Required:
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or Adobe Analytics.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (preferred).
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or Redshift.
As an expert in the E-commerce domain, you will be involved in analyzing various aspects such as online customer journey, product performance, pricing effectiveness, inventory analytics, marketing ROI, personalization effectiveness, and platform analytics.
