Role Overview: At Graviton Research Capital, a privately funded quantitative trading firm, you will be part of a team dedicated to achieving excellence in financial markets research. Trading across various asset classes and venues, we utilize a diverse range of concepts, from time series analysis to machine learning, to drive innovation and identify pricing anomalies in financial markets. Key Responsibilities: - Execute daily accounting activities, such as journal entries and reconciliations. - Review and verify accounts payable, vendor invoices, and employee expense claims. - Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns (GST, FEMA, RBI, Income Tax). - Track compliance timelines, maintain regulatory records, and documentation. - Prepare audit schedules, annexures, and supporting documentation. - Identify and highlight financial, operational, or compliance risks and anomalies. - Support ad-hoc finance assignments and special projects as required. Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is a prerequisite. - 23 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in financial services, capital markets, FinTech, or audit. - Working knowledge of Indian statutory, regulatory, and GST compliance. - Audit exposure is an advantage. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with close supervision and clear accountability.
