As a US Accounting Executive at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day US accounting activities with precision and professionalism. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing bookkeeping and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
- Managing bank feeds categorization and posting transactions correctly
- Preparing month-end financial statements such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules
- Handling client queries via email and calls in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining accurate accounting records in compliance with US accounting standards
- Collaborating with internal teams to meet reporting timelines and uphold quality benchmarks
- Identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues promptly
- Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 23 years of hands-on experience in US Accounting / Bookkeeping
- Mandatory proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Xero (Plus)
- Strong understanding of bank feeds categorization and reconciliation
- Experience in preparing month-end financial statements
- Clear and professional communication skills for client interactions
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines
Additionally, preferred qualifications include experience working with US-based clients, understanding of GAAP fundamentals, and exposure to payroll, AP/AR, or sales tax filings.
