Account Manager Finance And Taxation

As an experienced Accounts Manager, your role will involve leading finance and accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, managing foreign exchange and international transactions, and supporting day-to-day accounting activities including payroll, tax filings, and legal documentation. You will work closely with the Head Office in Japan and external partners to effectively carry out these responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, and payroll management. - Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to provide insights into the financial health of the organization. - Ensure timely compliance with TDS, GST, income tax, and other statutory filings while maintaining the necessary supporting documentation. - Manage forex transactions and wire transfers with banks, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate recording of transactions. - Coordinate foreign exchange activities and intercompany settlements with the Japan office to facilitate smooth financial operations. - Liaise with the Head Office in Japan for financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits to maintain transparency and accuracy. - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and timely responses to audit queries. - Guide accounting team members, establish processes, and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial operations. - Stay updated on transfer pricing regulations, coordinate with consultants for compliance, and participate in audits related to transfer pricing. - Gain basic exposure to international taxation for cross-border and intercompany transactions to ensure adherence to tax regulations.
