Job Description
As a Services Sales Account Executive 2 at Dell Technologies, your role involves connecting customers in a defined geography or market with various service offerings and making direct sales. You will work with a field-based team to identify, develop, and successfully close business opportunities across Dell's diverse services portfolio, including professional services, consulting products, and outsourcing services. Active globally, you will help clients unlock the potential of next-generation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell services to decision-makers, purchasing groups, and IT influencers, with exposure to CIO- and CTO-level stakeholders
- Lead qualification, client proposal development, and presentations
- Develop customer value propositions and effectively communicate Dell Technologies Services capabilities
- Coordinate resources, sales, service delivery, and operations to meet customer needs
- Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Build strong customer relationships and demonstrate collaboration skills
Qualifications Required:
- 8+ years of field sales experience with a bachelor's degree and a strong background in services advisory consulting
- Strong services sales acumen and ability to manage relationships across all stakeholders in an account
- Solid understanding of various technology domains to strategically position services
- Embrace and demonstrate a services sales culture
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate the services sales motion with hygiene, transparency, and rigor
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to assist in formulating the customer's long-term strategic vision
- Strong understanding of operational issues and solutions
- Financial acumen to solution deal with milestones
